September 30, 2007 Phillies 8, Nationals 4

Jamie Moyer gets win number 13 holding the Nats to one run and 2 hits over the first 7 innings, Jimmy Rollins ends a 3 1/2 week homer drought by leading off the first inning with a homerun, Chase Utley adds a 2-run shot, Carlos Ruiz ads 2 doubles good for 2 ribbies, and Shane Victorino scores 3 times despite going 0 for 3 at the plate as the Phillies sweep the Nationals and hand the Nats their 100th loss of the 2007 season. The Phillies 13-1 run to end the season gives them an 80-82 record for the year, not bad considering how horrid it was most of the season. This wil be their first time within a game of .500 since the fifth game of the season. As for Victorino's 0-fer and scoring 3 runs, he walked twice and reach on a forceout once scoring all three times.

We will see the Phillies next in 2008, as the World Phucking Champions!!! Whether that will tranform itself into SOM play remains to be seen.
