October 12, 2007 Angels 2, Indians 1 (Angels lead series, 1-0)

Despite the Indians getting double digits in hits, too many wasted chances with 10 left off base only gets them one run on the scoreboard. Orlando Cabrera carries the hot bat of the day, knocking in both Angel runs with a 1st inning double to score Chone Figgins from first and a solo shot in the 5th. The Indians finally get on the scoreboard in the 6th inning, with a Victor Marninez double and Ryan Garko's single scores Martinez, but Francisco Rodriguez puts the lights out again with a 2 inning save, his 4th of the playoffs. For game 2, ir will be Fausto Carmona for the Indians against the Angels' Jered Weaver.
