| Jamie Moyer helps his own cause with an RBI single in the 2nd to give the Phils the 1-0 lead, and the lead holds until the 6th when the Marlins get an unearned run to tie the game. Tthe bullpen coughs it up again with the winning run coming off Geoff Geary on a Jeremy Hermedia homer in the 8th inning, and the Marlins get an insurance run in the 9th. The loss basically, but not officially, eliminates the Phillies from the playoffs. The only way for them to get in now is to win 20 straight and for the Mets to lose 20 straight. I would be more likely to win Powerball than to see that happen! |
