| With only playing four games (two days on the schedule) in the last month and a half, I figured it was time to start playing again! The Sox put a pasting on the Orioles with virtually no help from the top of the order. the 1-2-3 men in the lineup go 3 for 18 on the day, including an 9 for 6, 4 whiff day for David Ortiz. Theur help wasn't needed though, as the bottom three picked up the slack going 9 for 13 combined. Jason Varitek 2 homeruns as part of a 3 for 4 day, and Julio Lugo going 4 for 5 with a couple of doubles helps out. |
