Mike Lowell and Coco Crisp run the offense today as the Sox win a squeaker. Lowell knocks in both runs, scoring Coco both times on an RBI double in the 1st inning and a 4th inning single. Crisp also gets two srolen bases in the game to put him over the 30 steal mark on the season. Curt Schilling goes a solid 6 1/3, getting his 14th win of the year. Manny Declarmen douses a Tampa rwo on, no out rally in the 8th and Paps goes the 9th for a win and save in consecutive games.

At Fenway Park, the Boston fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.  Curt
Schilling(14-5) finally bested his Tampa Bay opposite, Scott Kazmir(12-10),
by the score of 2 to 1.
 
Schilling pitched well for Boston in their victory. He surrendered 5 hits and
2 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.  After the 3rd inning, neither team was able to
score.  
 
Jonathan Papelbon gained credit for his 41st save.  Kazmir was the loser.  He
allowed 6 hits and 4 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.
