The Red Sox can't get anything going against the O's today, as Garrett Olsen and Rocky Chery (what a name!!) combine on the shutout. Tim Wakefield's somewhat dissapointing season continues as he gets loss number 13, now with an ERA over 5 and a half. I even just checked, and Rocky is his real first name. Full name: Rocky Ty Cherry.

Garrett Olson mowed down 10 Boston batters as the Baltimore Orioles outscored
the Boston Red Sox 8 to 0.
 
Olson(3-2) had a strong outing.  He didn't allow much, just 5 hits and 5 walks
in 7 and 1/3 innings reducing his ERA from 5.46 to 4.42.  Baltimore kept the
pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.
 
Tim Wakefield(9-13) was tagged with the loss.  He was knocked around by
Baltimore, allowing 9 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.  Olson was jubilant in
the hometown clubhouse, 'It was a lot of fun out there.  The fans gave me a
lot of support as did my teammates.  We got the victory and I'll sure take 10
strikeouts anytime!'
