Alex Rodriguez launched 2 homeruns and scored 3 times as the New York (AL)
Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox in 11 innings by a score of 8 to 7 at
Yankee Stadium.

season) making New York (AL) victorious to the delight of the the home town
