August 21, 2007 Reds 16, Braves 10

A total of 36 hits for both teams combined (18 for each) ties the high for a non-extra inning game in the slugfest between the leaders of the NL East and Central. Many stars on offense, you can see that for yourself.

Adam Dunn ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds outscored the
Atlanta Braves 16 to 10.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Dunn. He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 2nd inning and
smacked a three-run homer (his 41st of the season) in the 4th inning.
Cincinnati bats were hot in the 2nd inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 3
hits, the 4th inning with 4 runs on 3 hits and the 6th inning when they had 4
runs on 4 hits. A wild affair, this game saw the lead change 5 times.

The win went to Bill Bray(1-0) who allowed 1 run in 2 and 2/3 innings. Tyler
Yates(2-1) was the loser in relief. He surrendered 4 runs in 1 and 2/3
innings and saw his ERA increase from 4.01 to 4.59.
