Manny Declarmen and Eric Gagne, who makes his Sox debut, finish it up in the win. The win for Tavarez continuez his recent hot streak, with only three earned runs allowed in his last 3 starts and the one win. Three of Julian's 5 wins have come in the last two weeks.

In a lop-sided win the Boston Red Sox ripped the Baltimore Orioles by a 7 to 1
count.
 
Boston started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the
first plating an isolated run utilizing 2 base hits.  For the game Boston
out-hit Baltimore 14 to 4.  
 
Julian Tavarez(5-6) was the winner allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Steve
Trachsel(3-9) took the loss.  He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7
runs in 4 and 2/3 innings.
