| Coco Crisp, 4 for 5 and falling a triple shy of hitting for the cycle, knocks in the first and game tying Boston runs of the game as the Sox take the Tribe in 10. Crisp smacked a solo homer in the 1st inning, however the Indians' Grady Sizemore also rips a solo blast in the 1st and two more Indian runs score in the 2nd on a wild pitch by Kason Gabbard and a groundout to give Cleveland the 3-1 lead. That would prove to be all the runs that the Indians would get, as the Red Sox chip away with a Kevin Youkilis RBI single in the 4th and Coco knocks in the game tying run in the 8th with another single. In the Sox 10th, an Eric Hinske single, Julio Lugo sacrafice, and Dustin Pedroia's single give the Sox the lead. Papelbon gets the call in the bottom of the 10th, and just like last time strikes out the side for the save, number 27 for the season. A few games ago, I just noticeed that I mistakenly put Josh Barfield's name as Jesse Barfield. How stupid can I be? That's what I get for typing fast and not thinking. Jesse Barfield retired I would say at least 15 years ago (just checked, 1992!!) |
