June 27, 2007 Phillies 3, Reds 2

In a squeaker, Aaron Rowand's 2-run bomb in the 3rd and Chase Utley's solo shot in the 6th prove to be enough to propel the Phils to the win. Jamie Moyer also contributes nicely, holding the Reds to 2 runs over 7 innings of work. Ryan Madson goes the 8th, and current closer Antonio Alfonseca strikes out the side with a hit in between for the save. Aaron Harang is no slouch for the Reds, allowing 4 hits in 6, but 2 were the homers to account for all the Phils runs. Dave Ross contributed a solo homer for the Reds in a losing cause.

Aaron Rowand cracked a homer and had 2 RBI as the Philadelphia Phillies
defeated the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 3 to 2 at Citizen's Bank
Park.
 
Philadelphia came up with 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning.  The key
at-bat was by Rowand who came through for the home fans when he popped a
two-run clout over the fence (his 12th of the season).  Cincinnati had a
chance in the 9th but they came up short.  
 
Jamie Moyer(5-7) got the win allowing 2 runs in 7 innings. Antonio Alfonseca
recorded his 3rd save.  The losing pitcher was Aaron Harang(8-6).  He pitched
6 innings giving up 4 hits and 1 walk.
