June 25, 2007 Mariners 3, Red Sox 2

Lack of clutch hitting for the Red Sox enables Jeff Weaver to get his first win of the season, despite 8 hits off him in 5 innings and the Sox outhittimg the M's 11 to 6. Two homers for the Mariners (Ichiro 2-run shot in 4th, and Jose Vidro solo in 6th) gives them their 3 runs, and the Sox were scoreless until the 8th.

In the 8th, a Manny walk, Youkilis single, JD Drew RBI double, and Mike Lowell reaching on an error which scored a run gives the Sox some hope, but J. J. Putz comes in and slams the door in their face, preserving the win for Seattle. 11 left of base is the Sox undoing today.
