| Not much to be happy about today, as Padres starter Chris Young goes to 11-2 for the year and Marcus Giles has a big 3 for 5, 4 RBI day as the Pads paste the Sox. Still a one game lead for the Red Sox in the division over the second place Blue Jays. Note of interest: I played the first semi-autoplay Giants game with what ended up being a normal lineup for the opposition, and pitcher Matt Morris still pitches for a 2-hitter over the Yankees! I guess you never know what will happen. If you take out the 7-3 record that the Giants have against the Sox and Phillies with what ended up being normal lineups, the Giants are 49-14! Hopefully doing this from here on out will knock the Giants down a bit before the end of the season. |
