| Old man Jamie Moyer goes 7 shutout innings, giving the Phils the 10-0 lead. The Cards would get four runs over the final two innings with 2 in the 8th off Brian Sanchez (leadof triple, 3 straight walks and a force out RBI) and 2 in the 9th off Jose Mesa (2-run homerun for Scott Rolen) to spoil the shutout, but the Phillie pasting put on them earlier in the game made the runs pretty much meaningless. Some excitement in the 6th inning. With the Phils already out to an 8-0 lead, Andy Cavasoz hits Chase Utley (who had a homer earlier in the game) with a pitch. I guess Utley didn't like it, as the play by play said that he charged the mound, being tackled from behind by Cardinals catcher Kelly Stinnett! To make things interesting, I had Utley and Stinnett ejected from the game! |
