June 4, 2007 A's 6, Red Sox 3

A very strong Julian Tavaras in the early stages, Tavarez can't last out as the A's get 5 runs in the 6th inning off of him and JC Romero to break the Sox's 6 game winning streak. Tavarez struck out the side in the 1st inning on 9 pitches, something that doesn't happen very often.

Another unusual occurence this game was a catcher's interference call against Doug Mirabelli, which led to one of the runs for the A's in the 6th. On a better note, Alex Cora is the Sox star for the day with a 3 for 4 day including his first homerun of the year in the 1st inning.
