May 23, 2007 Red Sox 7, Yankees 3

Kevin Youkilis falls a homer shy of the cycle on a 3 for 5 day, and Jason Varitek also goes 3 for 5 as the Sox take the rubber game of the series. Curt Schilling was on his horse all game, only making one mistake - a 3-run Hideki Matsui homer in the 3rd inning, which at the time tied the game. A 3 run 4th gives the Sox the lead right back, including a nice squeeze play by new leadoff man Coco Crisp!

Here is an interesting stat for you: Dustin Pedroia so far on the season, in over 130 atbats, has struck out only 7 times - but 4 of those have been in the last four games!
